KKS (Kraftwerk-Kennzeichen System)
KKS (Sistem Klasifikasi Power Plant) : merupakan sistem baku untuk klasifikasi power plant. KKS digunakan selama tahapan engineering, contruction, operation, and maintenance dari power plant untuk identifikasi dan klasifikasi peralatan. Istilah pendeknya dikenal dengan sebutan KKS yang merupakan singkatan dari istilah bahasa Jerman Kraftwerk-Kennzeichen System. Pada masa yang akan datang KKS akan diganti dengan sistem bernama Reference Designation System for Power Plant (RDS-PP). RDS-PP strukturnya hampir sama (90%) dengan kode istilah yang terdapat pada KKS.
Struktur dan Format
KKS memiliki tiga tipe kode yang berbeda :
- Kode yang berhubungan dengan proses : untuk identifikasi sistem dan peralatan sesuai dengan fungsi dalam proses di power plant.
- Kode titik pemasangan : untuk identifikasi kode titik pemasangan dari perangkat elektrikal, kontrol dan instrumentasi.
- Kode letak : untuk identifikasi letak dari peralatan dan bangunan.

*) Tipe datanya adalah abjad dan angka. Abjad hanya memakai huruf kapital tidak termasuk I dan O, dan juga karakter khusus tertentu. Jika dalam tanda kurung, karakter data boleh jadi hilang jika kodenya khas.
